The pricing of an announcement of the Playstation 3 is $499 (20GB) and $599 (60GB). This made it officially the most expensive gaming console compared to the Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii. PlayStation Portable owners in Japan will be getting a treat this fall—a little snap-on antenna that will let PSPs tune in to digital TV broadcasts. Gaming blog Kotaku reports that the small, silver box (complete with a flip-up antenna) will attach to the top of the PSP, letting you tune in to digital broadcasts over 1seg, a video broadcasting service in Japan that debuted last year.


Though the old Microsoft’s 30GB Zune didn’t go over too well, Microsoft’s kept at it and managed to produce an impressive pair of players in its second-generation Zunes. The $250 80GB hard-drive model I’ve tested would make a capable alternative to an 80GB iPod Classic if wireless syncing or built-in radio that interest you.
