Overclocking, basically pushes the chips/cards to the limit. It does this buy running more voltage to the Cpu (processor) memory or Graphics, there are many sites that will show you how to do this, try googling overclocking its easy and you can get at little more power out of your computer doing this. However manifacturers condem you doing this as, the components get hot, i mean really hot. So there is a chance you could burn out something. I would not recomend you do this on a laptop though. As you cannot add water cooling or extra fans so you WILL burn something out. try here for more info though. - by flikapotamus
