Most of Internet users, all of a sudden, receiving an unacceptable amount of “bulk” email in their email account. A huge amount of the identical emails are sent each day, which probably will be deleted without opening. The question is this: Let us assume they are sent to us automatically, would there be any use in opening them and responding with a note that we’re not really interested, and that we would like for them to stop sending the mail to us. For sure, if there’s an attachment, we would not open them under any circumstance.
Firstly, here’s some slight clarification: There is outright spam and there is commercial, bulk email, junk email, and though the line can be blurry, following the right instructions can often eliminate the latter without your having to depend on your spam filter or delete button.
First we need to determine what kind of spam email we might have. Is it being sent by a company you’ve ever done business with it some time ago, or something you might have signed up for in the past, however long ago? Most commercial or business mail being sent by legitimate companies will have an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email or newsletter, and though those links can take a few days (maybe a week) to go into effect, if you follow the steps to unsubscribe from a mailing list (just make sure you complete the transaction and read what to do carefully so you don’t miss anything) the messages should stop.
The problem of course is that with true, unsolicited spam, those links will not work. In fact, many users feel that following the link only validates your email and will result getting you more spam email. But actually, I doubt this is really the case—once you’re on the list, you’re on the list—but the basic point is valid: By clicking unsubscribe button on spam email is a truly big waste of time.
Ever think to send an email replies to the spam email? that’s an even bad idea: Virtually all commercial junk mail and unsolicited spam email is sent from an unmonitored email address. Actually typing a mail to reply is an even bigger waste of time since you have to type something up and no one will ever read the mail, and the truth is you’re actually creating even more spam email for your inbox to deal with later. (since a lot of spam email is sent using a forged “from” address, you’re probably creating spam for some other poor sap, too.)
So DON’T ever reply by email to a spam email, things will get even worse if you do that. ![]()

Delete is the best choice. The sender will know what they are doing. No response will stop the spam.
