Nokia has recently introduced a new kind of a cellphone charger which will allow the users to charge their handsets and cellphones by pedaling a bicycle.

According to Nokia, the schematics of this charger will be based upon a small dynamo and a generator which will convert the energy thrust used in pedaling the bike to the electricity which in turn can be used to charge the Nokia handset.

The charger is anticipated to reach the markets around September and will cost round about $15.

Nokia is planning to initially target the emerging markets where the users don’t have ready access to electricity and they might resort to other unconventional means to charge their cellphones. End of article: Nokia Bicycle Mounted Mobile-charger

Nokia N95- Is it a computer?

Nokia N95Nokia’s N95 does just about everything a computer can do. There’s a lot of world out there and with the N95 you can fly over 100 countries or drive at street level around 15 million locations. In fact there is so much to explore, you just won’t have time to go to work anymore.

View an entire web page with a single stroke of the key – zoom in or out as the occasion demands and have the history automatically saved so you can go back to where you started. You can access those important emails along with any attachments. And you can connect to your compatible PC via three different ways. If you feel like watching a video, you can use a TV-out cable or UpnP on your compatible home electronic device.

Want music? Stream it seamlessly to your compatible headphones, car or home stereo. Or you can hook up to your favourite home stereo speakers or headphones. All this with a 5-megapixel camera, Carl Zeiss optics, a 2.6″ display, 2GB of memory and support for RSS feeds says it is a computer. I wonder why they called it a Mobile Imaging Device? In any case, it deserves the 2007 European MID award. Oh, and if you wanted to download those movies, go ahead. It’s no problem for the N95.
